Acting Credentials In addition to being a trial lawyer, Darryl B. Cohen is an actor, model, commentator and frequent master of ceremonies. He has appeared in numerous TV shows including In the Heat of the Night, commercials, industrial films and as a principal actor in a daytime soap opera (Daryl Chambers on The Catlins). He also hosted a live two-hour talk show on WTBS-TV in Atlanta. Cohen appeared regularly on Atlanta WXIA-TV/Channel 11 (NBC) as the legal commentator for its Noonday program. Currently, he often provides on-air legal commentary for the Fox News Channel, CNN/HNN and local Atlanta TV stations including WXIA-TV Channel 11 (NBC) and WAGA-TV Channel 5 (FOX). Cohen has co-hosted several local telethons, served as a regular on-camera spokesperson for WPBA public television pledge drives and master of ceremonies for various community and charity events. Presently, Cohen is the National NATAS first vice-chairman and a past president of the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), which produces the regional Emmy Awards ceremony. In addition, he is a judge and active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), which produces the Primetime Emmy Awards. He has served as president and a member of the national board of directors of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Georgia Branch and on the Atlanta board of directors of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
